Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily obtain a color value with a desired color measuring device.
CONSTITUTION: Provided for correcting a color value obtained from a color measuring device to a color value of desired color measuring device are a color measuring means 2a to 2c for obtaining a color value by measuring the color exhibited by the measured object, a nueral network 3 for obtaining color value by correcting an input color value in correction mode using the measured color value accordingly to the specified characteristics of different color measuring device, a preserving means 4 for preserving the color value of every color measuring device for standard color samples and network parameter information and network parameter information during study completion, a control means for reading out the color value corresponding to the specific measuring device during a study (calibration) mode and giving it as teacher signal to the neural network, letting study the relation of output value to a input color value in the neural network and controlling to output the color value obtained with a nuero, and the color value of the object is output by measuring the measured object emitting a specified color with a color measuring means and making it output the color value of the measuring object.
