PURPOSE: To provide the subject composition containing a vital cell-activator for arranged flowers and a carrier therefor, having no odor, free from inhibition of breathing and transpiration of the arranged flowers, free from stickiness and stains of the surface and capable of maintaining freshness of the arranged flowers without wilting thereof for a long period.

CONSTITUTION: An objective composition containing (A) a vital cell-activator (e.g. sodium N'-methoxycarbonylsulfanilamide) for arranged flowers preferably in an amount of 0.001-0.1wt.% and (B) a carrier (e.g. saccharide such as glucose or surfactant) therefor preferably in an amount of 0.1-3wt.%.
