Abstract:
To provide a coloring agent for a fiber, which has high safety and imparts high color fastness to the fiber.
The coloring agent for the fiber contains reducing sugar such as xylose, arabinose, glucose, mannose, galactose, maltose, cellobiose, lactose and maltotriose. A method for producing colored fibers includes a step of treating fibers with the coloring agent for the fiber. An amino group contained in the fibers is derived from protein or polyamide.
