To cut hair by using scissors as it is without nipping the hair between fingers by providing both a parent comb having hollow cavities in the longitudinal direction of the comb and also having opened parts and a child comb that is slidably housed in the cavities thereof, so that shaving can be enabled up to the cut-expected position.
A comb for hair cutting is made up of a parent comb having hollow cavities in its longitudinal direction, and a child comb that is slidably housed in the cavities of the parent comb. Hair is combed up to the root of hair in the state that the comb teeth 2 of the child comb do not interfere with the mutual gaps between the comb teeth 1 of the parent comb. Then, the child comb is pulled by the fingers to slide, so that the comb teeth 2 of the child comb are slid inside the cavities provided in the comb teeth 1 of the parent comb to nip the hair. Both the root parts of the comb teeth 1 of the parent comb for nipping the hair and the comb teeth 2 of the child comb for nipping the hair are formed in curved recessed surfaces. By shifting the comb in the fore direction of the hair after nipping the hair and stopping the comb in the cut-expected position, and while putting scissors on the side surface of the comb for cutting, the cutting of hair is carried out.
