PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive balance which is suitable for an object to be weighed and a target weight value in case they are small, by constituting a balance such that a single electronic balance is used, and a conveyance to trays from the electronic balance and a removal from the trays are manually conducted.

CONSTITUTION: A balance consists of a single electronic balance 2 and (n-1) pieces of trays 41W4(n-1). After all objects to be weighed are weighed by the electronic balance 2 and are placed on all the trays 41W4(n-1), they are placed on a tray 6 of the electronic balance 2. Then, a buffer memory controller 14 causes a hold circuit 26n to hold a weighing signal, and simultaneously, it actuates a combination generator 32. Based on a memory value of a memory 64, a lamp, corresponding to the storage of the memory 64, out of indication lamps of a combination indicator 66 lights ON via a weighing target value setter 38, a lower limit comparator 50, an upper limit comparator 52, and a combination memory 64. According to the lighting, the object to be weighed is packed in a bag by an operator. This permits obtaining of an inexpensive balance which is suitable for an object to be weighed in case it is small.
