Abstract:
To provide a medicinal use for treating depression or anxiety in mammals including man with a composition comprising a serotonin selective reuptake inhibitor(SRIS) and a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist.
When the composition is used for the treatment, the sexual function of a patient during the therapy of the depression or anxiety is improved, and/or side effects in the stomach and the intestines are decreased. Especially, the medicinal composition comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist and an SRI antidepressant medicine.
