In this combustion abnormality detecting device of combustion equipment, a control means executes ventilation processing for combustion to cause a fan 1 for hot water supply and a fan 3 for heating to effect ventilation operation in a simultaneous combustion state where a combustion part 2 for hot water supply and a combustion part 4 for heating effect simultaneous combustion, and in ventilation processing for combustion, at the initial stage of the starting of combustion of a burner 41 for heating and after retry ventilation processing is executed, capacity limit ventilation processing that the fan 3 for heating is caused to effect ventilation operation by capacity lower than ventilation capacity of the fan 1 for hot water supply is executed. After execution of capacity limit ventilation processing, the burner 41 for heating is brought into a flame failure state and retry ventilation processing is executed, and accompanying with detection of a fact that a continuous miss fire state to bring the burner 41 for heating into a flame failure state again is detected in succession the set number of times, it is detected that the ventilation state of an exhaust cylinder G is abnormal.
