To provide combustion equipment provided with a user-friendly speech synthesizer which informs a user of the manner of operation and operating condition without bothering the user by speaking timely and necessary information in response to a condition in which switch means is operated.
A combustion equipment comprises a burner 2 for burning fuel, a control circuit 3 which controls the combustion of the burner 2, an operation part 4 which outputs a control signal to the control circuit 3, a speech synthesizer 1 which utters a speech, and switch means 6 which operates this speech synthesizer 1. When the switch means 6 is operated within a given time after an input operation of the operation part 4, the content related to the input operation of the operation part 4 is outputted from the speech synthesizer 1.
