Abstract:
To provide a communication circuit that can prevent communication quality from deteriorating regardless of the specification of a connection destination.SOLUTION: A communication circuit includes: a pull-up resistor switching unit 101 for switching the resistance value of a first pull-up resistor to a first resistance value or second resistance value; a connection destination pull-up resistance measuring unit 103 for measuring the resistance value of a second pull-up resistor included in a second communication circuit; a connection destination compatibility determination unit 104 for determining whether the second communication circuit supports communication when the resistance value of the first pull-up resistor is set to the second resistance value; a communication speed selection unit 107 for selecting communication speed of communication between the communication circuit and second communication circuit; and a communication speed transmission unit 108 for transmitting the communication speed to the second communication circuit. The pull-up resistor switching unit 101 sets the resistance value of the first pull-up resistor to the first resistance value when staring an initialization process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
