Abstract:
PURPOSE:To recognize the NC control information of FMS line a in a real time and to perform efficient line control by controlling and commanding the operations of respective machine tools in the FMS line through a centralized control center based on the respective pieces of information. CONSTITUTION:Information in an NC device 4 in each machine tool 3, e.g. information regarding the number of programs which are already registered, the number of programs which are not registered, a used memory area, an unused memory area, etc., is inputted by a communication to a terminal equipment 1 which is installed relatively near by the FMS line. Various pieces of information inputted to the terminal equipment or the terminal equipment 1 is viewed and then all recognized at one place, so they become basic data for the advance of a machining program in a next FMS line. The terminal equipment 1 is connected to the centralized control center 2 to issue operation commands to respective NC devices 4 according to the basic data.
