Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten the occupying time of a communication controller by making the transmission speed of picture data transmitted to a central processing unit from the communication controller faster than the transmission speed of the picture data transmitted from a facsimile terminal equipment to the communication controller. CONSTITUTION:The communication controller of a center device 1 has a memory 5 for storing the picture data transmitted from the facsimile terminal equipments 3-1-3-n. The picture data stored in the memory 5 is inputted to the central processing unit 6 from the communication controller 2. The transmission speed of the picture data transmitted to the central processing unit 6 from the communication controller 2 is made faster than the transmission speed of the picture data transmitted to the communication controller 2 from the facsimile terminal equipments 3-1-3-n.
