PURPOSE: To change transmission procedures by the operator's operation from the console of a central processing device or the operation of a pushphone or the like from a terminal equipment group, by providing a line control table in a communication control device.
CONSTITUTION: In case that a common line connection part 12-0 is used to transmit data along #0, #1, and #2 type transmission procedures, line control words 11-0, 11-1, and 11-2 and the line connection part 12-0 correspond to each other on a line control table 14, and other line connection parts 12-1 and 12-2 are eliminated to make it possible that signals are transmitted along three different transmission procedures selectively through the line. Meanwhile, a modulating and demodulating part 15 constitutes a MODEM group as shown in figure in correspondence with the line control table 14. Consequently, transmission procedures are changed by the key operation of the pushphone due to the terminal user or the key operation of the console in the central processing device.
