To appropriately select communication paths when a communication packet is transmitted in a redundant manner.SOLUTION: A communication device connected with a transmission device via a plurality of communication paths selects a prescribed number of communication paths depending on a duplication type of a packet to be transmitted between the transmission device and a communication device from communication paths satisfying a prescribed amount of delay among the plurality of communication paths, transmits information on the selected communication paths, and then receives a plurality of packets generated due to duplication of the packet transmitted by the transmission device according to the duplication type via the selected communication path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
