To solve the problem that there is no means for adjusting a MAS reserved by transferring or exchanging a MAS to another device that secures MASs within a reservation specific number, when using a common platform defined by WiMedia_Alliance in a WUSB.

A device 1e performs communication by reserving a Medium Access Slot (MAS) based on WiMedia_Alliance. The device includes: a control part 10 that generates negotiation request information, the negotiation request information requesting a reservation change so that an own device uses a MAS having been reserved by an another communication device 1a-1d; and a host controller 50 that sends the negotiation request information to the other communication device 1a-1d and receives a response accommodating the reservation change from the other communication device 1a-1d. After receiving the response, the control part 10 sets a MAS reserved by the other communication device 1a-1d to a MAS to be used by the own device.
