Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing a load on a network between a communication device and a control system.SOLUTION: A printer causes a volatile memory to store monitoring information 310 including a data ID "DA1" and time information "40 min". The printer determines whether or not a value of the number of printed sheets indicated by the data ID "DA1" is changed every time the time indicated by the time information "40 min" lapses. When determining that the value of the number of printed sheets is changed, the printer transmits the present value of the number of printed sheets to a terminal device, and when determining that the value of the number of printed sheets is not changed, the printer does not transmit the present value of the number of printed sheets to the terminal device.
