Abstract:
To generate an appropriate pulse signal for synchronous processing using a counter.SOLUTION: A communication device comprises: a counter that is configured to increment a counter value at timing of an external clock, and to set the counter value to a predetermined minimum value when the counter value is more than or equal to a predetermined maximum value; a correction section that corrects the counter value of the counter; and a signal control section that outputs a pulse signal having a low level and a high level while switching the level when the counter value is more than or equal to a specified value by comparing the counter value of the counter with the predetermined specified value, and adds a predetermined value to the specified value to update. When correction to have a value less than the minimum value of the counter is performed by the correction section, or when the updated specified value is more than or equal to a predetermined maximum specified value which can be taken by the specified value, the signal control section does not output the pulse signal for a certain period based on the counter value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
