Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which prevents illegal use of a lost transmitter and enables the use of the transmitter through a simple operation when it found.
SOLUTION: A communication device includes a storage part 15 in which a received ID code is written and a signal processing part 14 which compares the received ID code with an ID code in the storage part 15 and which, when they coincide, issues a control signal corresponding to the kind of a receiving function code to a part to be controlled. The device also includes a mode control part 18, which, in response to predetermined different supply states of the receiving function code and of external application information, either changes the operating mode of the signal processing part 14 from a normal mode in which a control signal is output to an ID code write mode in which the ID code is written on the storage part 15, or sets the operating mode to a control signal output stopping mode in which the output of the control signal is stopped, or resets the operating mode from the control signal output stopping mode to the normal mode, and a control function stop storage part 19.
