PURPOSE: To provide a communication device which is connected to the opposite party of communication via a communication line to perform the transmission/ reception of the image information, can effectively control the communication for every page, and also can facilitate the accurate management of information with high convenience secured for users.

CONSTITUTION: When the image information inputted through an input means 11 is sent to the opposite party of communication, a generation means 12 generates the additional information to designate the output conditions of every page of the image information. Then the additional information is added to the image information by an addition means 14, and this image information is sent by a communication means 13. When the image information is received from the opposite party through the means 13, an analysis means 14 decides whether the additional information is added to the image information. If the additional information is added to the image information, the means 14 analyzes the additional information. Based on this analysis result, an output means 16 outputs the received image information for every page.
