A portable telephone set 1 includes: a display part 5; an operation part 7 for inputting characters; a communication part 12 for receiving the content; and a control part 17 for receiving the content from the communication part 12 when a specified character is inputted by the operation part 7, and displaying the conversion candidates of the specified character in the display part 5, based on specified information included in the received content.
