This communication equipment is provided with an antenna 20, an electrically linear light emitting element 21, a translucent member 20 for housing the antenna 20 and the element 21, a main controlling part 25 for generating a light emission control signal when an incoming call comes, and a light emission controlling part 27 for transmitting the light emission control signal to the element 21. The element 21 does not affect adversely the characteristics of the antenna 20 or radio wave quality by making the element 21 into a spiral structure using an electrically linear element.
