PURPOSE: To perform origination with a telephone number that the operator of an opposite station desires by recording a sent speech message, converting the sound-recorded dial signal into telephone number data and storing it, and calling the opposite station according to the telephone number data.

CONSTITUTION: The operator of the opposite station is made to perform dialing operation during message sound recording and a dial signal is sent. Then the signal is recorded on a sound recording medium 15. This dial signal is reproduced by a reproducing circuit 16 and inputted to a dial signal detecting circuit 19. The dial signal detecting circuit 19 outputs the telephone number data detected in the form of digital data which can be processed by a control circuit 10. This telephone number data is stored in an area of a memory 7 corresponding to a specific one-touch key. Consequently, the opposite operator can call back with a desired telephone number.
