PURPOSE: To facilitate switching of directivity and non-directivity or the change of directivity characteristics and to easily deal with various installation environments as well.
CONSTITUTION: This communication equipment is composed of a main body 2 in which a communication circuit is built, a bar antenna parts 3, and connection part 4 for connecting the antenna parts 3 and the main body 2. Then, the main body 2 is provided with one radio wave reflecting plane on the surface of a casing at least and the connection part 4 freely movably connects the antenna parts 3 into the first state of taking an attitude making the lengthwise direction of the antenna parts 3 almost parallel with the radio wave reflecting plane 9 within the projection area of the radio wave reflecting plane 9 and the second state of taking another attitude so that communication equipment 1 can be provided. The state of reception can be improved by easily changing the antenna characteristics corresponding to the various installation environments and the equipment can be miniaturized as a whole.
