To provide a clock recovery device capable of recovering a desired clock on the basis of clock frequency information without using the adaptive clock method in a network configuration wherein no common network clock can be used between node devices.
A clock information insertion section 215 of a data processing section 211 includes functions of receiving clock information "d" generated by a clock information generating section 214 and executing insertion processing to asynchronous data. An in-device clock generating section 212 generates an in-device clock "a" acting like an operating clock of the data processing section 211 and an asynchronous data output clock. A clock measurement section 213 receives a synchronous clock "b" and the in-device clock "a" extracted from a synchronous data input by the data processing section 211 and measures a difference between the respective clock frequencies to output a measurement result "c". A clock information generating section 214 receives the measurement result "c" and produces the clock information "d" to be inserted to the asynchronous data.
