Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a resource allocation to cellular architecture by an allocating device and a procedure based upon priority. CONSTITUTION: To improve the use efficiency of a spectrum by sharing voice actuated resources and increasing the capacity of a system, a cellular network a carrier frequency, a time slot, or a code-division multi-speed access sequence are put at auction according to the level of priority which is allocated to respective competing subscribers and based upon the quality or specific necessity of a contracted service. The procedure has an auction period wherein which group of competing subscribers has top priority level is decided, then a resource allocation period is entered, and usable communication resources are actually allocated to the subscriber having the top priority. The auction period and allocation period are repeated until there is no subscriber who competes next or there is no usable resource left.
