Abstract:
To enable flexible and efficient communication to meet the needs of various users concerning communication between a tele-presence robot and a remote control terminal device.SOLUTION: A communication system includes: unfixed robots; and at least one of computers communicable with the robots. Each one of the computers includes a communication changeover section for allowing a communication method between the computers and the robots to be changed over between the first communication method for exchanging data via a data center connected to a communication network in response to a predetermined condition and the second communication method for directly exchanging data with the robot via the communication network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
