Abstract:
To solve the problem that if a user executes setting change during remote maintenance of a multifunction device by a call center, communication between the multifunction device and a relay server may be broken after executing the setting change, whereby, in order to establish communication again, the user is requested to restore the setting change and to reconnect, which is troublesome for the user.SOLUTION: Provided is means for continuing remote maintenance service between a multifunction device and a call center even when communication with a relay server is broken after setting change, by executing recovery of setting and reconnection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
