Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which connection and function setting of terminals can be realized with high reliability.
SOLUTION: The communication system 1 comprises a connector 3 constituting the main unit of a private branch exchange (PBX) or a button telephone, a plurality of terminals 5, e.g. telephones, data units, adapters, and the like, for connection with the connector 3, and a data bus 4 forming extensions for connecting the connector 3 and the terminals 5 wherein connection of the connector 3 and the terminals 5 and function setting of the terminals 5 are executed automatically.
