To provide a compact electric vehicle wherein only a driving wheel device 20 having specially heavy weight part relative to the whole electric vehicle can easily be detached from an undercarriage.
An engagement device is composed of a first engagement means 211 extended to the right and left of the rear side of the driving wheel device 20, a second engagement means 212 opened upward to the right and left of the front side of the driving wheel device 20, a third engagement means 112 forming a slot 114 holding the first engagement means, and a fourth engagement means 113 supported in the slot of the second engagement means. A locking means 121 has two upper and lower ends, the lower end part is a hooked shape and the upper end part is pivotally supported at the upper part of the slot 114 of the third engagement means 112 so as to be energized to the one side of the longitudinal direction by a first resilience means 123. The locking means 121 is locked by hooking the first engagement means 211 held in the slot 114 of the third engagement means 112 at the hooked shape lower end part.
