To provide a compaction management system using GPS which can make strict management of the rolling frequency.
Two units of GPS antennae 8 and 9 are mounted on a pressure application roller vehicle 2. The rolling area of the ground is indicated on a display 22 as a mesh image. On the basis of the positions of the two antennae 8 and 9 determined by GPS measurement, the position and attitude of the vehicle 2 are calculated by a calculating means 29. The display 22 gives the image of the vehicle in the sensed position and attitude. The divisional passage of the vehicle image is sensed for each division of the mesh image for the rolling area of ground while the run of the vehicle 2 is monitored, and the result therefrom is assumed as sensing of the divisional rolling, and the rolling frequency is updated and stored in memory. The ground is indicated in the display as mesh image equipped with the rolling frequency indications by divisions.
