Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator device having a configuration and a structure capable of reducing a flowing dark current or through current, to provide a display unit in which a drive circuit driving a light-emitting section is configured using such a comparator device, and to provide a method of driving the display unit.SOLUTION: A comparator device includes a comparison section comparing a control pulse and a potential on the basis of a signal voltage, and a control section controlling operation and non-operation of the comparison section on the basis of the control pulse. The comparator device can be used as a comparator device constituting a driving circuit, in a display unit in which a plurality of pixels composed of a light-emitting section and a driving circuit for driving the light-emitting section are arranged in a two-dimensional matrix shape.
