Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for performing control operation before capturing the line with external device, in a composite device.SOLUTION: A composite device connected with an external device communicably via a telephone line, having facsimile function and telephone function, and corresponding to incoming phone number notification service includes a communication unit for receiving notification phone number, i.e., the phone number of the external device, by incoming phone number notification service, a storage unit for storing action type at incoming call, corresponding to the notification phone number, and a control unit performing operation for processing the action type, according to the action type corresponding to the notification phone number received in the communication unit. The control unit performs processing operation before capturing the line for communication with the external device, based on the action type.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
