Title:
COMPONENT MEMBER OF BUILT-UP FRAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0718840
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an easy-to-assemble frame by fitting claws formed at both ends of the halves of a sash bar into the grooves of posts, causing both halves to approach or separate from each other, and pressing the claws against the side faces of the grooves, thus securing the sash bar to the posts.

CONSTITUTION: Grooves 2 each of which overhanging edges on both sides along the height of posts 1 are formed on the four side of each post 1 made by an extruded shape of aluminum or the like. A sash bar 31 laid between the posts 1 is divided into two halves 32 each of which has claws 33 formed at both ends. The claws 33 of the sash bar 31 are fitted into the grooves 2 of the posts 1. Then a bolt 43 is tightened to bring the two halves 32 close to each other with the claws 33 pressed against the sides of the grooves 2, so as to secure the sash bar 31 to the posts 1. Therefore, the sash bar 31 can easily be attached to the post 1.
