Abstract:
To provide a composite material with excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, especially, excellent adhesion between a base material and a carbon layer.SOLUTION: A composite material comprises a carbon layer having conductivity on at least one surface of a plate-like metal base material. The carbon layer is a composite material that contains a carbonaceous material and a matrix resin made of a thermosetting resin, and satisfies the following (*). (*) When a differential thermal analysis is executed for the carbon layer under nitrogen atmosphere and at a programming rate of 10°C/min, a strength value under a temperature of 200°C in a temperature differential curve (DDTA curve) of the differential thermal analysis (DTA curve) to be obtained is 0.035 μV/°C or less, and the strength value at a temperature of 300°C is 0.050 to 0.080 μV/°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
