To show that a paper part is in the process of receiving standby, without supplying the power of a portable telephone part and also to display an incoming message by the pager part supplying the power of a display device.
Instead of a portable telephone part 1, a pager part 2 performs power supply to a display device 3. That is, a user outputs a 1st on-off control signal to a 1st regulator 6 through a key operation and turns it off. Also, he outputs a 2nd on-off control signal to a 2nd regulator 7 and turns it on. Then, although the power is not supplied to the part 1 but it is supplied to the part 2, the power is also supplied to the device 3. When after some time the part 2 receives a message, the part 2 outputs the 1st on-off control signal to the regulator 6 and also outputs a control signal that displays a message to the device 3, via a portable telephone part 1.
