Abstract:
To enable a composite picture processor to substantially shorten the processing time required for preparing printing data by executing the preparation of the printing data in parallel on a printer side based on transferred picture data without waiting for the end of picture reading work on a scanner side.
A composite picture processor is constituted in such a way that the processor transfers picture data read one block by one block to a printer 103a in parallel with the picture reading work performed by means of a scanner 102a and a host computer 101a executes the preparation of printing data which can be interpreted by the printer 103 based on the picture data successively transferred one block by one block.
