Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain practical composite plating coating stable to friction and having water repellency by dispersing water repellent particles composed of a water repellent layer made of a fluorinated compound on the surface and a core having functional groups capable of chemically bonding with this on the surface.
SOLUTION: The surface of a substrate S is provided with composite plating coating 1 composed of a metallic base material layer 2 of Ni or the like and water repellent particles 3 dispersed into the layer. The water repellent particles 3 are composed of a core and a water repellent layer of a fluorinated compound arranged on the surface. Furthermore, this core is chemically bonded with the fluorinated compound. As the fluorinated compound, aromatic fluorocarbons, fluorinated pitch or the like having a monofluorocarbon structure or an acid anhydride structure are preferably used. Moreover, as the functional groups, amino groups, hydroxyl groups, alcoholate groups, phenolate groups, alkali metal bases with acid, mercapt groups, epoxy groups or the like are suitable, and they can be applied to the surface of the core by using a surface treating agent.
