PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation in a secondary operation part and to improve the accuracy in position, shape, etc. by performing the secondary operation in accordance with the ascending operation of an upper holder upon completion of bending which is a primary operation.
CONSTITUTION: When an upper holder 21 descends together with a ram 12, a pad 23 contacts the panel work W on a punch 22 and grasps the same under pressure; at the same time, a driving cam 27 and the sloped cam surface of the 1st sliding cam 33 come into sliding contact with each other, forcing the cam 27 to slide toward the right. When the holder 21 descends further, a die 30 contacts the work W and bends the work. The holder 21 starts ascending upon completion of the bending, then the sloped cam faces 27a, 33a of the cam 27 and the cam 33 come into sliding contact with each other. The cam 33 slides toward the left and the 2nd sliding cam 34 descends upon sliding contact of the cam faces 33c, 34c, then a piercing punch 35 meshes with a button die 26 thereby forming a pierced hole with the secondary operation in a flange part.
