PURPOSE: To reduce and uniformize the quantity of a sticking glass, and to improve an electromagnetic conversion characteristic and productivity, by welding and fixing a nonmagnetic ceramic and a head core with the sticking glass molded at a magnetic head core.

CONSTITUTION: A nonmagnetic ceramic 12 in a composite type magnetic head core slider, and a magnetic head core 11 which performs a magnetic recording and reproduction, are formed integrally in one body with a sticking glass 13. A reinforcing glass 11B molded at a track width regulating groove 11c in the head core 11 is used as the glass 13. Also, as for the head core 11, a magnetic head core block 11' is formed by joining magnetic head core half body blocks 11" with each other with a glass 11A, and a V-shaped groove 11C is formed on the upper plane of the block in a short side direction. And the ceramic 12 and the head core 11 are welded and fixed with the glass 11B molded at the groove 11C, and the quantity of the glass is reduced, and unified, thereby the productivity and the electromagnetic conversion characteristic can be improved.
