To obtain a composition useful for affording concrete excellent in acid resistance and corrosion resistance and having nontackiness by setting the minimum film-forming temperature of a fluororesin emulsion included therein at a level lower than the concrete-hardening temperature.
This composition for concrete formation is such one that the minimum film-forming temperature of a fluororesin emulsion included therein is set at a level lower than concrete hardening temperature (normally, 30-40°C, pref. 33-38°C); wherein the fluororesin emulsion contains pref. 1-50 wt.%, based on the total solid content of the composition, of a fluororesin (e.g. vinylidene fluoride/tetrafluoroethylene/chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer) and/or 0-200 wt.%, based on the fluororesin solid content, of a water repellent (e.g. a perfluoroakyl group-bearing compound) and/or 0-200 wt.%, based on the fluororesin solid content, of an organosilicon compound (e.g. n- hexyltriethoxysilane).
