PURPOSE: To obtain a composition useful for improving the absorption efficiency of neutral fat and other fat nutrient source through the intestines, by using acylglycerophospholipid and a fatty acid monoglyceride as active components.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains (A) an acylglycerophospholipid which is essentially a mixture of monoacyl compound and diacyl compound containing ≥10wt.%, preferably ≥25wt.% of monoacyl compound and (B) fatty acid monoglycerides comprising (B1) an unsaturated fatty acid monoglyceride having an iodine value of ≥30 and a monoester content of ≥40wt.% and selected from a monoglyceride of a 14W22C unsaturated fatty acid and a monoglyceride of a mixed fatty acid consisting of a 14W22C unsaturated fatty acid and a 14W22C saturated fatty acid and/or (B2) a medium fatty acid monoglyceride containing ≥40wt.% of a monoester of a 8W12C fatty acid. The weight ratio of B to A (B/A) is 10/90W90/10, preferably 30/70W70/30. The weight ratio of B to A (B/A) is 10/90W90/10, preferably 30/70W70/30. Preferably, bile acids are added to the composition in an amount less than the sum of the weight of the components A and B.
