Abstract:
To provide a composition useful as a polymer electrolyte film capable of maintaining its ion-conductive characteristics at a high temperature for a long period by incorporating only a small amount of an acidic compound to a polybenzimidazole-based polymer excellent in heat resistance.
This ion-conductive film having a high stability at a high temperature and maintaining a good ion-conductivity for a long period is obtained by a composition characterized by containing the polybenzimidazole-based compound having sulfonic acid group and/or phosphonic acid on a specific heterocyclic ring together with an inorganic acid and/or organic acid.
