Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for communicating information about compositions, methods, diets and articles of manufacture for promoting fat loss in animals, particularly in overweight and obese adult animals.SOLUTION: This invention includes use of compositions having a total lysine to metabolizable energy ratio from about 6 to about 10 g/Mcal, and/or feeding of diets having a total lysine to metabolizable energy ratio from about 6 to about 10 g/Mcal, useful for promoting fat loss in animals.
