CONSTITUTION: A compound information synthetic type X-ray luggage inspecting device irradiates the deposited luggage 10 moving as being placed on a belt conveyor 3 by the X rays generated from an X-ray tube 1, and detects the X rays having been transmitted through this luggage 10 by an X-ray sensor 2, and discriminates the contents of the luggage 10, and simultaneously, it image-picks up the appearance of the owner 20 of the luggage 10 by a TV camera 4. Besides, an ID card reader 5 to read the ID card of the owner 20, for instance, an airline ticket in the case of an airport as identification information about the owner 20 is provided. The information of the contents of the luggage 10, the appearance information of the owner 20, and the idetification information about the owner 20 are supplied to a central control device 6, and are stored in an external storage device as being coordinated with each other.
