Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction machine capable of allowing a user to confirm a part of an image recorded on a sheet, even when the user makes a copy of a part of a manuscript 62 larger than the maximum size to be read by a scanner part.SOLUTION: A multifunction machine 10 includes a flat bed type scanner part 12 on the upper part of a printer part 11. The scanner part 12 includes: a contact glass 41 to place a manuscript 62; and a manuscript cover 43 for opening/closing the contact glass 41 by rotating a rear surface 26 side of a housing 13 as a center. The printer part 11 includes: a paper feed tray 19; a conveyance passage 27 for conveying the paper toward a front surface 14 side by reversing a recording paper 61 of the paper feed tray 19; and a paper discharge tray 20 which is extended from an opening 15 of the front surface 14. The left end of a discharge area E2 to be occupied with the recording paper 61 that is discharged to the paper discharge tray 20 and has the maximum size to be conveyable in the conveyance passage is deviated leftward for a predetermined distance with respect to the left end of a readable area E3 of the contact glass 41.
