Title:
COMPRESSOR AIR HOSE PROVIDED WITH ANTIFREEZING HEATING WIRE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11159686
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent deterioration of compressor efficiency and operation availability due to frozen water inside an air hose by installing a flexible antifreezing heating wire in an inner/outer tube of the air hose and heating the air inside the air hose when the air hose for a compressor, which is widely used for feeding compressed air in industries such as a mining industry, a civil engineering industry, a shipbuilding industry, and an iron and steel industry, is used in winter or in a cold area.

For preventing deterioration of compressor efficiency due to frozen water inside an air hose 1, a flexible antifreezing heating wire 4 is wound in the form of a coil in either of an inner tube 2 or an outer tube 3 of the air hose 1. Alternatively, a plurality of flexible antifreezing heating wires 4 are buried as a double-structure covering 6 in the tube longitudinal direction toward the tube tip. In this way, air inside the air hose 1 can be heated.
