Title:
COMPRESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63192973
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the flow out of oil into a refrigeration cycle by providing a machine part, a motor part, a discharge chamber, and a discharge pipe which projects out into an enclosed casing in the enclosed casing, and providing a recessed part on the machine part while opening the discharge pipe into said recessed part.

CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant which is discharged out of a discharge port 9 flows into the recessed part 15 of a machine part 10, and its flowing direction is changed. That is, the refrigerant which contains oil collides against the wall face of the recessed part 15, the oil is deposited on the wall face of the recessed part 15 causing the oil to be separated from the refrigerant, and the separated oil falls downward through a space below the recessed part 15. Accordingly, since the separated oil does not enter a discharge pipe 12, the flow out of oil into a refrigeration cycle can be prevented.
