To provide an operational flowmeter for calculating a value for the flow of sole gas containing less water vapor from a value for the flow of gas containing water vapor.

The flowmeter for measuring fluid such as gas body possibly containing moisture includes a gas flow extracting circuit, the gas flow extracting circuit consisting of, at least, a computing means for finding the mol fraction of measured gas, a computing means for finding the mol mass of the gas from the mol fraction, a computing means for finding a value of the density of the gas from the mol mass, a computing means for finding a value for the mass flow of the gas excluding a wet component from the value of the density, and a computing means for finding a value for the volume flow of the gas excluding the wet component from the value for the mass flow. It has an output terminal for outputting information equivalent to the value for the volume or mass flow from the gas flow extracting circuit to other equipment than the flowmeter.
