Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make a computer simulate robot operation control, which is performed by the robot controller, with high precision. CONSTITUTION:This robot controller 10 is connected to the computer 30 such as a work station. The robot controller 10 is composed principally of a processor and controls robot operation according to basic software and a robot program. The command signal of the robot operation control is sent originally to the robot, but transferred to the computer 30 through a communication means 20 here. The computer 30 simulates the robot operation according to the command signal and the simulation is displayed on the display 36 of the computer 30. The robot operation can, therefore, be simulated without transplanting operation from the robot controller 10 to the computer 30 which requires much labor. Further, the simulation is based upon the command signal of the robot operation control that the robot controller 10 actually performs for the robot, so the simulation is high in precision.
