The major parts of a desk unit comprise an operation top plate 2 having a shape which expands to the outside, an upper plate 3 having a shape which expands to the outside in the same manner, and a tilting plate 4, an intermediate plate 5, a receiving plate 6 and side plates 7 and 8, and video display terminals(VDT) can be set up to 3 units in the vertical direction. A VDT on the bottom is tilt-embedded, and the bottom is supported by the tilting plate 4, and the back is supported by the receiving plate 6. A VDT on the top is set to face outward, and plays a role to transmit information to clients who are in a manner to surround the outside of the desk. Three desk units co-own the operation top plate 2. When eighteen of the units are connected, they become a ring, and six people can stay in the inner diameter, and the operation and observation can be performed. One person can observe three VDTs on the bottom and three VDTs in the middle, a total of six VDTs, without moving in the lateral direction, and under a relaxed posture.
