PURPOSE: To obtain an inclining device having simple structure and easy to assemble by arranging an operation part for easily executing sliding operation along the supporting shaft of a leg member on a part exposed from the recess of the leg member.

CONSTITUTION: The operation part 50 is arranged on an external face 20B to be the exposed part from the recess 14 of the leg member 20. The operation part 50 consists of a non-slip surface working part 50A, an operating recessed part 50B and an operating projection part 50C. The working part 50A is formed by stripe engraving work or the like applied on almost the whole external surface 20B. The projection part 50C is a finger putting part to be used in sliding the leg member 20 by a finger tip. The recess 50B is increased in the substantial height of the projection part 50C so that a finger tip can easily be put on the projection part 50C. Since an operating member different from the leg member itself is not projected to the side face or the like of the computer body, the device is conveniently carried or stored.
